Whats in my make up bag

Compact Mirror
Benefit BADgal mascara
Rose and almond oil vaseline
Rimmel match perfection concealer
Barry M lip gloss
Benefit Flatter Me creaseless cream shadowliner
17 blusher brush
Eyeshadow brush
Avon sunkisses bronzer cream
ELF Mocha Swirl duo eye shadow cream
Rimmel bronzing compact powder medium matte
Eyelash curlers
Rimmel Soft Khol eye liner pencil in jet black
This is what I call my essentials. I do have a lot more but its kept in a drawer rather than a make up bag. If i'm wearing my glasses I just wear mascara, bronzer eyeliner, concealer and vaseline. I don't ever wear any foundation. It just does not agree with my skin, I feel like i'm trapped and it brings me out in spots so I stay well away! I only wear eyeshadow and eyeliner when I have my contacts in. I tend to hide behind glasses.I love the benefit eyeshadow but I was getting through it too fast and it was costing me a fortune to replace it. So I brought some from ELF to wear everyday so I could save benefit for special occasions. It is the first thing I have brought from ELF and am very impressed, I can't wait until I can treat myself to some more things once payday comes!

I adore the Rimmel eyeliner, have been buying it since I was 15. I love the way it smudges and the fact that it's only £2.99 doesn't hurt either! Ive not found an eyeliner that's better.

I am actually after some make up brushes if anyone has any recommendations?

  1. Thanks for your comment! :) I agree, Rimmel eyeline is the best! I wish I could get away with not wearing foundation, sadly my skin is terrible, so I am very envious!

  2. I highly recommend ELF makeup brushes, actually...as well as GOSH from superdrug and Eco tools. They are all fabulous for a smaller price tag than MAC (which are amazing but too expensive for me!)

  3. Oooh, nice make up! Unfortunately I don't have any recommendations as I only ever seem to wear mascara, eyeliner and a little bit of concealer. I love the look of make up but I've never taken the time to learn how to apply it. One day I will!

  4. I love seeing into other people's bags & makeup bags! I used to own so many Rimmel products. Absolutely love their lipsticks & nail varnishes (even if they don't last long)!

  5. hey! thanks for your comment :)
I have indeed been to a jumble and i definitely think its worth taking a trip down - i was slightly astonished by how messy and busy it all was but i filled a £10 bag with 3 huge jumpers, you do have to have a proper root through though!

I might pop down myself actually :D x

  7. Ah I love posts like this :D the benefit mascara is amazing, I have two sample sizes and am considering getting a proper one! As for brushes, I own a few by Sephora which are ok, and by No7 which I prefer, so I'd recommend those! xx
