A ramble

Money. I can never seem to make this last! As soon as I get paid it goes, I suppose it is my fault that I cant bear to stay in and I like nice things but still managing to spend £400 in a week is pretty bad. Im in my holiday fund again, thats 50 quid I already owe and will probably go up, payday is not until the 26th. Ebay is being a drag, all the things I seem to have left no one seems to want to buy. I might have to have a serious rumage and see if I can bear to throw anything else out. My wardrobe is shocking as it is without me cutting it down even more. There is nothing I dont like in there.
I brought another lace item, its seriously becoming an issue. Everytime I go it im either clad in lace or floral. But its so pretty and looks so old fashioned! Its a cream long lace shirt, if i had the body of a supermodel I would wear it with leggings. But alas I dont. So im thinking of wearing it with black skinnies or my black body con skirt undone with a black body underneath. And it was the only one left in Primark, must have been a return, so it was obviously meant for me. I really could not pass the opportunity up.
Im back on weightwatchers, Im putting on weight like nobodys business. Everyting that I like just seems to look so terrible or even worse im struggling to even get it on. I have no one else to blame but myself really I just am eating too much and not exercise. Ive polished the bike and got the old weightwatchers books out. Im determined to lose a stone and a half before my holiday in September. I can do it, ive lost 3 stone in 4 months before, but I just need to get in the right mindset. Once ive been doing it for a week, im like a beast so so disiplined. But its just getting passed that first week. Why do i have to have a fat person dying to get out?
I also want to see Robin Hood. I dont care if everyone is slating it syaing it just another version of Gladiator. I love Russell Crowe in films like this, I think he plays these characters so well. And I love the story of Robin Hood, I really like the idea of someone stealing from the rich to give to the poor. What does the rich need all their money for? I might have to dip in the holiday fund for this film.

Shopping list

This is what I got this payday. The amount is tragic. Darn trying to save for a holiday and two parents deciding they needed to have a birthday just a week apart. At least I brought something though. But alas nothing from Topshop.

I finally relented and invested in some gladiator sandals. Im still not quite sure if they make me look like I have sausage legs. They have an ankle cuff so from Primark could make me too more chunkier than i actually am. Ive took the labels off anyway now so its not like I can take them back. Just have to wait till the summer to see if I actually wear them! They are lovely though, have a tribal thing going on which i love this season. Just need a maxi dress to wear them with.
Next item from Primark was a spotty top. I love this, I think that the statement shoulders add a little something to it. I was not too impressed though when the boyfriend told me I looked like an american footballer. What does he know? During the day it could add a little sparkle, make a dull outfit of skinny jeans and flats well not so dull anymore. It also wont look too try hard for a casual outfit. And it was only £6 cannot resist a bargain. Finally I brought a playsuit. I have been lusting over buying a playsuit for aggggges. Ive always been a bit worried about the dreaded camel toe appearing if I were to invest. But this one did not let me down. I love the print, its wintery enough that it can be worn in the winter with tights but because it is shorts it can also be worn in the summer. Good all rounder! It also looks a little vintage with the ditsy flowers and frill round the neckline, may have to invest in a brooch though its extremely low and would more than likely pop open should i be under the influence. I wore it out at the weekend and got lots of compliments! Good buy!

Flower Power

I adore this. It will be perfect for the summer. Something pretty to add to my wardrobe of floral inspired things. It really would brighten up any outfit. It really is a "me" thing to have. Just a shame about the £55 price tag when yet again 2 days after payday I am skint again.Ive only spent £35 on clothes this month. A top, tights and glads from Primark and a floral playsuit from Next. Tragic. Ill do a little fashion tomorrow of my purchases. I am ever so pleased with the tights, like the £800 Blancangia pair only mine cost £2. Who will be able to tell the difference? I finally invested in a pair of tribal style Gladiator sandals, knowing my luck after being in fashion for the past 3 years, the year i splash out is the year no one wears them. Ah well at least i will look different i suppose!

Skint

I am offically skint, not that its going to stop me from going out on Saturday night but i am offically skint.
To make matters worse due to the lack of overtime i have done this month because of my god awful coursework, this months pay packet will not be a joyful one. 2 weeks till deadline, im just on course to finish it.
8 days to wait, 8 long days. 8 long days and I wont even be able to have a spend up when it arrives in my account. I hate responisbilities and debts.
50 quid limit this month for clothes and i WILL stick to it this time. I have too.
Bring on the summer, I like this hot weather.

Failure

So I have failed my driving test for the second time today. It is unbelivably frustrating, I can drive I know I can but its just seems as soon as I step foot in test conditions I turn to mush. I have my favourite test route today through town and on a duel carriageway. Not an M11 roundabout in site. Reverse park and turn in the round, I can do with my eyes shut. Yet I failed it spectecularly, I suppose if your gonna fail may as well do it will style. Be pointless if I fail for not checking mirrors enough.
Im also skint so its not as if I can have a spending spree in Topshop to cheer myself up. Money has lasted 22 days this month, some kind of record to be honest. Cannot remeber having money for this long. Friday will be a very drunk night at the Pub.
On the plus side the mother is cooking me fajitas for dinner as a consolation prize. Almost worth failing in itself. Fajitas have to be the best food known to man. God bless the Mexicans.

Vampires

Perhaps I have been reading Twilight for too long but I desperately want this t-shirt. I am embracing my inner geek, she likes to come out once in a while.

Alas though its by Wildfox which means it comes with a £65 price tag. I just cannot justify that for a t-shirt while I am saving to go on holiday. It would look great with my demin shirt over the top.

On another note I rediscovered my love for The Strokes. Amazing band, never ever gets old. Albert Hammond Junior has over taken Nick Valensi in the love stakes. Nick has got boring andf settled down with children. Where is the fun in that. I still laugh at Alberts guitar playing in the Last Night video.

Before im 30

Things I want to do before I hit the big depressing 30
9 years to achieve everything before its a downward sprirl with kids and marriage.
1. Own a Mulberry black bayswater
2. Travel like a backpacker for at least a good month.
3. Live in New York.
4. Spend two weeks in partyland Ibiza getting completely smashed.
5. Own a pair of black patent Christan Louboutin peeptoe shoes.
6. Get my NCE as a journalist.
7. Visit Florence.
8. Move away from everything I know for a little while to prove to all the doubters I can make it on my own.
9. Spend the summer working abroad in bar for four months
10. Travel round Europe in a campervan.

Not much to ask now is it?

Fancy a picnic?

I want actually let me rephase that. I need this chanel bag. Techincally though it is a picnic hamper but clever old Alexa Chung, who makes scruffy look cool, has decided to use it as a bag. How lush is it? I adore Chanel and it makes me very upset that all I can afford is the perfume. Although im going to splash out and treat myself to their red varnish. God I know how to live the high life! This big will be perfect for the summer to go with little pretty sun dresses. It just so quirky and cool and so very me! Why was I not born into money is a question I ask myself daily.
Isnt it just divine? She does seem to have forgotton her trousers though silly old Alexa!

The all important payday

Payday came on Friday after waiting forever for it to arrive. Not as much as I was expecting but still a far bit to allow me to buy some pretty gladrags and go out and get drunk a far few times. I went straight to Topshop and splashed out £80, two things for myself as well as a present for a friend. Its amazing how you can spend an obsene amount of money in Topshop and not have hardly anything to show for it. Its still my favourite though. I only brought a t-shirt, earrings, ring and gym bag out of Primark. Which I am very impressed about, im trying to ween myself off and save my money up to get one decent lasting things rather than lots of decent clothes that fall apart in the wash. I still dont think I will ever be able to stay away forever though. I like bargain too much. I went into Next and flashed my discount around to buy a bleached demin shirt and navy leggings. Its the second time Ive brought a demin shirt, got one from Topshop a while back but it made me look like a elephant this one is a bit more flattering thankfully. It will be brillaint for a lazy day. Which is in fact what most of my life is made up of! I then spend a stupid amount in Boots, always get a bit carried away in there. Brought some much needed fake tan and make up amongst other things.

This is what i splashed my hard earned cash on, I could easily have spent so much more. Im going to see how long my money lasts before I buy anything else. I actually want to have a social life please.
This is the top from Primark, I though it was alright for everyday use. Would go well with my demin skirt, leggings and a black cardigan. It have lovely puffy sleeves, I dont know if it shows up too well in the picture. Again it lace inspired, I seem to have a obssession with lace at the moment, everything I buy is lace. Last payday i brought a grey lace top and a pink lace jacket. Its just so timeless and classic. Will always be in the wardrobe.
These are my purchases from Topshop. My beautiful cardigan which I have been looking at since January, they only had two left and it was my size so its obviously meant to be mine. I love it. It will last through the summer too as it can be thrown on in the evening when its gets a bit chilly. Good investment buy. The dress is fab too. I love checked things, bit too short to wear without leggings but the next size would have been far too big, Damn being tall, things always seem to come up shorter on me. No compliments in my house though, my boyfriend asked me if my nan knitted this caridgan and my dad asked me if i was pregnant in the dress. Gotta love them.
My demin shirt and leggings from Next. I got the shirt a size bigger as i wanted to to be bagger, I dont think demin shirts should be fitted. They are meant too look like you have nicked them off your boyfriend. Or a painter as my dad asked me when he saw me in it. The leggings are a good buy, go with everything. Everyone wears black leggings nowadays, nice to be a bit different. Although everyone in next will be wearing these as nearly all the staff had them on hold!

Made up

I have a love affair with Benefit make up. I dont own loads, a couple of eyeshadows, mascara and an eyeliner that has broken but i cant bear to throw out. But I want to own it all. But I just cant jusifity the price not when I have an obsession on clothes. I always think the £23.50 I will spend on a bronzer could pay for half of a topshop dress. The Topshop dress always wins, the evidence can be seen in the 46 dresses I currently have in my wardrobe. Slightly too many one might say.

Anyway I will invest one Payday, I cannot keep putting cheap shit on my face. Well Rimmel is not exactly cheap but its a lot cheaper than Benefit. As I am aging, 21 makes me feel ever so old, Im making a pact to buy some. To be honest I think im like the packaging the best.
I have wanted this since forever. I dont tend to wear pinky blusher, although I am at the minute as its all i have and funds are low, I am a bronzer kinda of girl. Goes better with my skintone I think. This is suppose to be the one to have. I despise bronzer with shimmer in for the daytime, I only like to wear shimmer at night. But alas all the bronzers I seem to buy have stupid shimmer in. This one apprently does not so its ticks all the right boxes. Although I will be sad to wave my rimmel bronzer away!

Erase a paste suppose to cover up all signs of stress and tiredness. This I have a lot off so it would be perfect to cover up the constant black circles under my eyes that never ever seem to go away no matter how many times I get my beauty sleep.

I dont really wear lip glosses, I d0 love my Lancome Juicy Tubes I got for christmas though, as i find they get too sticky. So I prefer to wear a lip baim well in particular the rose vasaline. Its slightly tinted and keeps my lips soft. This is lip balm and tinted. Sort of the same as vasaline but in better packagaing. I need it.

In fact I need all of it.

I have come to the conclusion that I am an appalling speller and my blog makes me look like a thicko. I apologise. I will more attempts in the future to try and look intelligent while voicing my opinions.

I am in serious need of a night out, somewhere away from this town so i dont bump into people from my past. It is always awkward when i see classmates that I have not spoken to since I left and nor do I wish too to be honest. Im quite happy with the ones i have kept in touch with.

I am also in need of a serious wardrobe overhaul, I need to get with the fashions. I fear I am slacking in the trends. And I am slacking in buying Topshop. I want people to look at me on a night and say Hey that girl has gorgeous clothes on. Not oh that girl is dressed head to toe in Primark. Which is what I believe people do say. As much as I love cheap clothes, I think i need to start investing and spend more money. Hopefully then things will not shrink.

Mulberry Mulberry Mulberry

I adore Mulberry, Ive already said my first designer bag will be a tan Mulberry Bayswater. To me its the epitomy of city chic. I need one when im a high flying journalist working in the city, I wont fit in otherwise. And of course I must have the matching purse. I need to have Ferne Cottons collection, any girl that have over 20 Mulberry bags is a hero in my eyes.

Mulberry bags get me all excited especially when they realise a new one. The most recent one is the Alexa stachel, named after Alexa Chung who is yet another fashionista who i would mind stealinf some of her clothes. Although i always thing for someone with such style why does she look like a ragamuffin most of the time. Still her Chanel collection is to die for.

Anyway onto the Alexa, isnt it divine? It looks vintage but yet isnt. It looks like you should take it boarding school but you wouldnt. It is so big even Mary Poppins would struggle to fill it up. I love it. However at this moment in time i dont quite have £795 in my bank account. Somehow £12 (an imporvment from £1.91 on Friday) wont buy me it.

Once im a city worker I will own a Mulberry.

Im in love

I was born to wear designer shoes but i was not born into money. Life can be so unfair.
But I can dream.

These are beautiful, Miu Miu have got a knack of producing gorgeous shoes.

I love the cut out detailing, It helps to harden up an outfit. Almost creating a rockier look. But then the peeptoe give the shoes a feminine quality. Bright hot pink toes would look fab peeping out. I also love the ankle strap, although this has a tendency to make my legs look like sausages it looks too pretty im not even bothered. Whos going to looking at my legs when these beauties are on my feet?

Beg Steal or Borrow

So the time has come, I have been paid for 11 days and im running low on funds. Have just enough money to go out on Friday night even though I need some dollar for Saturday as well. Good one Sophie.
Although I say this every month, i havent even brought myself that many clothes. Believe me I could have spent a whole lot more. My list is still endless of things I need to have.
11 days is not too bad actually, usually its just a week so Im making progress!
On the plus side I am off to see Alice tonight finally. Im taking my new Mad Hatter purse so I can get in the mood, this also makes me wish I brought a Alice vest to wear to the occasion.
I am a geek at heart.

I want to be Alice.
I have never been this excited about a film for a lonnnng time.I really hope Tim Burton does not ruin the story, the reviews ive read have not been too polite. But I have faith, I have never not loved a Tim Burton film. Im love everything about Alice in Wonderland, the magaical dreamworld, the white rabbit and the quirky little accessories and clothes that come from it. After getting my beautiful mad hatter purse from my boyfriends sister as a surprise (she is too good to me) ive decided that all I want to buy is alice in wonderland inspired goodies. And i think I want to marry Tim Burton.

I want this white rabbit top. Hes my favourite, i really hope Micheal Sheen does him justice.

This ring is on my list too. Cameos are beautiful and this White Rabbit one is up there with the best.
I need these limited edition set of Opi Alice in wonderland inspired nail varnishes. Off with her Red is my favourite.

I am always a bit partial to a gold charm bracelet. I love the fact the are so old fashion like a family heirloom. So I fell in love with this as soon as i clapped eyes on it. A gold Alice in Wonderland charm bracelet. Oh its a beauty. At £105 its a bit pricey but looks completely worth it!

Now I just need my boyfriend to take me to the cinema.

Payday

It seems i waited my whole life for payday and now its been and gone my bank account still looks unhealthly. But my bedroom is full of new pretty clothes so its not all bad. Its only another three weeks and 6 days till my next wage packet. Counting down the days already.

The driving test is booked finally, i need to pass it this time. I am not at all happy with the amount of money it is costing me. It will be so nice so to be able to leave places when i want to or not to keep having to beg for a lift of everyone anytime i need to get somewhere. The best bit will not have to walk to work in the rain anymore especially as recently all it ever seems to do is rain or snow.

Next on my list of things that will complete my life are these beauties. I think im in love.

Only £80, so like half my monthly wage. They will look gorgeous with a black body con skirt and black body. I love the fact they are snow leopard, leopard print has the tendency to look trashy if not put together in the right outfit.

I adore leopard print, it makes me happy.

If i put 20 quid a way for 4 months these will be mine. Easier said then done, ill found something else i need tomorrow. Oh how i wish i had a full time job with money to spare!

ASOS will be the death of me.

I am a second year journalism student with aspirations to own a Chanel 2.22. Black please.

Oh and perhaps become a primary school teacher or work on the frontline reporting like Kate Aide.

I am constantly poor thanks to my shopping addiction, my defence is I work hard for my money and enjoy owning nice things. I have enough time to worry about what i spend when I become a grown up and have to pay bills. Even then id rather go without heating so i can get that Mulberry bag.

Payday can never ever come around quick enough to be honest as after a week I have pretty dresses hanging in my bedroom but no money in the bank account. How I still manage to have a social life is beyond me. Although having amazing parents and a boyfriend does help.
As shopping and fashion is my favourite hobby, im decided to stop me from getting bored I would create a blog dedicated to clothes. Maybe a little bit about me too thrown in too if I fancy it.

Here we go

Well this is awkward.
Do i just spill the beans?
I thought I would bite the bullet and ramble about my ever so exciting life on the internet. What harm can it do?
