You know when you do something exciting and it passes so quickly in a blur that you're not quite sure if you've actually done it or it was a dream? That's how I feel about Paris. It feels quite surreal to think that I spent the weekend in the French capital.
After departing from Victoria bus station last Friday night, I fell asleep on the IDBUS and woke up in Paris ready to take on the city. After negotiating our way to our hotel - having a French friend was invaluable - we headed out to sample the delights. We jumped on the metro and ended up on Saint Germain Boulevard to hunt down some brunch. I really can't believe how much we managed to squeeze in considering we had such a short amount of time. I got to marvel at the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Arc De Triomphe, Le Marais and Sacre Cour. The former was by far my favourite. The views after the steep climb were breathtaking - well worth the huffing and puffing whilst trying to avoid the dodgy men at the bottom selling friendship bracelets.
I had such a amazing weekend and it was so much fun to spend time with new bloggers and ones I already classed as friends. Everyone was so friendly and really made the weekend run smoothly - it was so helpful having Elodie and Lucy speak fluent French. I really don't know how we'd have coped without them! Elodie, Olivia, Gemma, Lauren, Charlotte, Kristabel, Lucy, Ellie, Amy, Hannah, Lucy and Cinda it was a complete pleasure!
Can we please go this weekend too?
