Timex A/W collection

A few weeks ago I was invited along to have a sneak peak at the new Timex a/w collection at Shoreditch House - a venue that has been on my wish list to visit for ages! A brand I have a soft spot for and a venue that promises to offer fantastic views of the city? Win win situation! The American heritage brand certainly had a lot of fancy watches to show off.

I found that brightly coloured material straps were very popular. These statement watches had a great nautical theme to them. In fact, I was lucky enough to take home the yellow and blue number and my boyfriend is already trying to steal it from me - the little rascal. The straps on the Weekender Fairfield are reversible making them perfect for those who change their mind like the weather!

If leather straps are more your jam, the earthy neutral watches come with matching face. This heritage collection offers a more subtle watch but still makes a style statement.

What I loved most about the different collection was that they were all unisex and timeless. I got the impression that wouldn't date and would look just as good now as they would in ten years time. Perfect for an investment piece. Can you believe the brand is over 160 years old?

Do you have a favourite design? Thanks so much for a lovely evening Timex - my wish list is now as long as my arm!

Boohoo Christmas Collection

I was invited along to have a butchers at what Boohoo has to offer for the festive season. Yep it's that time of year again. Christmas in July. Cray cray! It's always nice to have a sneaky peek at what will be hitting stores in the upcoming months.

So what has Boohoo got in store for you all? Lots of sequins, lurex, jacquard, fur and pom poms. All the best things in life! I'm always glad to see sequins come back year after year. Nothing else really quite gets you in the festive spirit. Boohoo have a selection of large sequins or tiny ones depending on what you fancy. The silver dress in the top picture had my eyes on stalks! I'm absolutely loving the pom poms on the shoes - especially the skater shoes. Gives a little something special to your everyday attire don't you think?! The red and gold crop top couldn't feel more Christmassy if it tried. The colour scheme is perfect for your Christmas party. Paired with a black pencil skirt and skyscraper heels, you'll be good to go.

Has anything caught your eye? I'll have the red clutch below please.

Cath Kidston A/W 15

I'm a massive fan of Cath Kidston. In fact, I've been stockpiling their homeware products ready for when I move out. So as you can expect, I was very excited to see a invite pop up in my inbox to have a little look around at their A/W preview. As you can tell, it was full of lots of beautiful things!

Cath Kidston have delved into their archives and have reworked some classic prints. They came up with a Riot of Print and Colour. The results are gorgeous rose prints, burgundy polka dots, berry coloured birds, a red ditsy floral print and pretty teal florals amongst many others. The rose printed midi skirt above is what dreams are made of! Just look at all the stunning colours. I also had a soft spot for the skater shoes below - I'll be keeping my eye out for them in the coming months.

Their homeware didn't disappoint either. The press day was full of printed crockery, glassware and novelty items. Every year they seem to offer something similar yet completely different which is why they keep bringing their customers back. There's always a new collection of print that you need to collect. The cute little sausage dog below caught my eye and I did consider sneaking him in my bag and running out! But alas my conscious got the better of me.

#Closetrefresh

Closet is a brand that I always make sure I make a beeline for if I'm ever browsing on ASOS or Dorothy Perkins - especially the dresses. They always have such a great selection of classy, midi dresses at such affordable price points. I like to shop - a lot - so I can't spend too much money on one thing. Recently they've just been relaunched and I was kindly invited down to the launch party to see what they had on offer. The newly rebranded Closet London unveiled their new story. I'm loving all the pretty blue shades - they just scream a trip to a seaside right? I'm a sucker for a good print. I can just imagine them pair with a pair of nude sandals and a denim jacket thrown on your shoulders. The floral dress is calling my name. Very loudly!

Every 6-8 weeks the brand is going to be unveiling a new story - exciting! All those pretty clothes to look forward too!

Have you ever shopped from Closet London? Which is your favourite dress?

New Look A/W 15 Preview

New Look never fails to impress me so I was excited to be invited to their a/w 15 preview. One thing that always stands out for me season after season are their accessories. I can never have enough of their shoes. They're always so well priced, something a little different and some of the most comfortable shoes I own. Next season will not disappoint! The stand out shoes for me were the silver studded, lace up heeled sandals. I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for those in the shop. The jewellery was also full of gems. The above feather necklace would look incredible with a plain black midi dress.

The 70s trend proved it's here to stay. Maybe it's about time I embraced it! The new collection was full of suede, denim, shearling, lurex, floppy hats and florals. The shearling beige jacket caught my eye immediately. It looks so luxe and I think you'd never guess it was from the High street! I've also got my beady eye on that fluffy cream fur coat on the mannequin. I can image it with a denim midi skirt with a roll neck jumper for when the weather starts to cool down.

The below suede skirt looked and felt incredible. I loved the exposed zip and of course the length always wins me round. I'm getting a bit worried midi skirts might be on their way out as they seem to get less each season. Just means I'll have to start buying extra right? I'm so impressed each season with the high street as they continue to up their game. You seem to get so much now for your money.

Does anything stand out for you?

Laura Ashley S/S '15

A few days ago I was invited along to have a little mooch around at what Laura Ashley will have to offer next season. It's always such a joy to have a sneak peak.

Their handbag game was immense. They're not a brand that I associate with handbags but I fell in love with every one they had on offer. I adored the gorgeous pastel colours and many reminded me of Michael Kors in the shape. The stunning pink envelope bag would be ideal for a summer wedding - it's big enough to still fit all your junk in!

They really went to town with their patterns for this season. The nautical themed rail was amazing - loved the adorable seagull print. You really can't beat a good thick cotton dress when the weather starts to heat up and the boat print one ticked all the right boxes. The cute buttons on the strap at the back was a lovely detail. My personal favourite has to be the midi white embroidery anglaise dress. It was such a perfect length and the material felt so luxe. Definitely a piece I'm going to look out for!

I was particularly impressed with their range of kitchenware. I'm a sucker for some china and loved the pretty patterns they had on offer. The cake knife would be perfect if you were throwing a family garden party and wanted to impress whilst cutting a yummy Victoria sponge. Who can resist the cute Tobias the dog lamp? Such a handsome chap!

Has anything caught your eye?
