Distressed blue denim jeans: F&F (similar)
Gold pointed leather loafers: Topshop
Poppy red Lily bag: Mulberry

This is a weekend staple for me. My shirt collection is slightly getting out of control. It's a simple, comfortable outfit that's perfect for mooching around town and meeting friends. The holes in these jeans are getting bigger and bigger but that's exactly how I like them. I'm dreading the day they fall apart on me. I wore this for Hello Kitty afternoon tea with my favourite blogger pals but more on that gem later on in the week. These gold leather loafers are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. They were an absolute pain to break in and I think my feet weeped for about five days. But once that was over, they fit like a glove so it's worth taking on the pain for a while. Something to bear in mind if you feel like taking the plunge!

Today I am off to Copenhagen for three days and am so excited to finally visit Scandinavia. I booked the trip for my boyfriend's birthday so looking forward to eating out way around the city and coming back 10 stone heavier. We're going to try and take it easy to make sure we come back relaxed. Which means no ridiculously early alarms and lots of lounging around the apartment eating Danish pastries. Most of the trip is planed around food stops but we do have a few must-visits on our list. See you on the flip side guys!

OOTD: Midi dresses and Chlobo

Outfit:
Beige trench coat: ASOS
Blue paisley midi dress: Boohoo via ASOS (similar)
Black pointed suedette ankle boots: ASOS (similar)
Poppy red lily bag: Mulberry
Silver hamsa hand necklace: ChloBo via Mococo*

Jewellery website Mococo got in touch to see if we wanted to collaborate on a blog post. Selling a range of well-known jewellery brands such as Thomas Sabo, Pandora, ChloBo and Olivia Burton, it didn't take long for me to take them up on the offer. This lovely silver hamsa hand necklace is the perfect statement piece - lots of people complimented it! It came beautifully packaged with a cute note, pink bag and a cheeky chocolate. I love the long chain and the large pendant. Definitely something I'm going to be reaching for again and again to jazz up an outfit. I thought it went perfect with my new midi dress which was a total bargain at just £20. Full price! It's a great transitional piece thanks to the midi length and long sleeves. The weather still can't make it's mind up!

Thanks to mega babe Sarah for snapping these pictures.

OOTD: Star print shirt

Outfit:
Star print silky shirt: Boohoo* Only £8 in the sale!
Khaki trench coat: Primark (similar)
Ripped ankle grazer skinny jeans: F&F (similar)
Red skater shoes: Vans (similar)
Red lipstick: 97 Incandescente Chanel
Poppy red Lily: Mulberry

How beautiful was the weather last Saturday? It finally felt like the spring we've all been waiting for. The sunshine prompted a an impromptu day to trip to North London. We didn't really have any plans in mind apart from a trip to Dishoom. It was so nice to go with the flow and aimlessly wander around the winding streets without an end destination. We ended up walking along Regents Canal from Kings Cross to Camden, trekked to the top of Primrose Hill for the incredible view above, marvelled at all the huge houses in St John's Wood before heading over to Abbey Road to laugh at all the tourists holding up the traffic trying to recreate the Beatle album cover. It was time to head home when it started to rain for a bottle of wine in bed to watch Jonathan Ross. Exactly how all Saturdays should end - what on earth is this going out out business?!

OOTD: Cream faux fur coat

Outfit:
Cream faux fur coat: Primark (similar)
Floral silky longline shirt: Boohoo*
Black skinny jeans: New Look (similar)
Cobalt blue studded heels: Dorothy Perkins (similar)
Black leather Bayswater bag: Mulberry

Despite my boyfriend asking me if I was feeling a bit sheepish when I met him wearing this coat, I'm very glad it's finally cold enough to bring it out of storage. The best £25 I ever spent in Primark. And it's lasted more than one season which is always a bonus with that shop! I wore this for a burger lunch date with Hannah and Lily before mooching around the V&A museum. Pretty perfect Wednesday if you ask me! I'm now back at work, back commuting and back spending my days in London. So long week off! Now it's all full steam ahead until Christmas. How on earth is is December already?

OOTD: Ripped jeans

Outfit:
Floral kimono: Oasis
Light wash ripped jeans: F&F (similar)
White cut out floral top: Boohoo*
Pony hair black heeled sandals: New Look (similar)

Another day. Another kimino. These babies are turning out to be my achilles heel. I seem to be buying one every month much to my bank account's dismay. So easy to throw on and still look half decent. They're an absolute godsend in this awful humid weather. I'm constantly hot and cold so these are great to help keep the chill off when the rain starts to appear. I wore this for a lovely day out at the beautiful Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. Oh how the other half lives! The grand house was a birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill and is set in stunning grounds. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the ex-Prime Minister's death so there's lots of interesting exhibits to read.

September seems to already be a very busy month. Considering I've been made redundant, I seem to be doing a lot of things! Thank god for some freelancing work. I'm in London a few days this week which is always nice - never tire of the big city! Something about that place always gets me. Lots of cinema trips - see Southpaw immediately guys, it's immense -, boxing matches, Cillian Murphy talks and Butlins fun to be had this month!

How is your September planning out?

OOTD: Grey Duster Coat

Outfit:
Grey duster coat: Topshop (similar)
Paisley print silky shirt: c/o Boohoo
Ripped skinny jeans: F&F (similar)
Double strap sliders: Birkenstocks

So August huh? The less said about this month the better. This isn't the outfit I'd expected to wear during the 'height' of summer but what can you do? That said I really loved this outfit. It was just so simple yet I still felt well put together. I treated myself to this shirt thanks a gift voucher from the Boohoo press day and it's hardly left my body. I love the silky, fancy material and the fact it's collarless makes it a little different from the sea of shirts in my drawer.

Boohoo Christmas Collection

I was invited along to have a butchers at what Boohoo has to offer for the festive season. Yep it's that time of year again. Christmas in July. Cray cray! It's always nice to have a sneaky peek at what will be hitting stores in the upcoming months.

So what has Boohoo got in store for you all? Lots of sequins, lurex, jacquard, fur and pom poms. All the best things in life! I'm always glad to see sequins come back year after year. Nothing else really quite gets you in the festive spirit. Boohoo have a selection of large sequins or tiny ones depending on what you fancy. The silver dress in the top picture had my eyes on stalks! I'm absolutely loving the pom poms on the shoes - especially the skater shoes. Gives a little something special to your everyday attire don't you think?! The red and gold crop top couldn't feel more Christmassy if it tried. The colour scheme is perfect for your Christmas party. Paired with a black pencil skirt and skyscraper heels, you'll be good to go.

Has anything caught your eye? I'll have the red clutch below please.

You don’t need a plan of what you wanna do

Outfit:
Black ribbed turtle neck body: ASOS
Purple floral maxi skirt: ASOS
Gold heeled black sandals: Boohoo
Black furry oversized clutch: Topshop
Velvet cropped jacket: Topshop (similar)
Boyfriend silver watch: Fossil (similar)

I'd had my beady eye on this beauty of a skirt for months but at £75 I needed a good excuse to blow that kinda cash. As luck would have it the ASOS sale gods were shining down on me and it was popped in the sale just before Christmas. I made it mine immediately! It's just so fancy and I adore the gorgeous length - looks very glamorous don't you think? This was my New Years Eve outfit for a meal at our local Indian restaurant. I'm never too much of a fan of NYE as I think it's overrated so this was perfect. Good food and good friends - what more could you want to ring in the first day of a new year?

Can you believe Christmas has been and gone for another yet? I'm in cheese mourning. Luckily we still have plenty of leftovers. But not so lucky for my waistline.
